Savasana Yoga

The word ‘shava‘ means ‘corpse‘. This pose looks like sleeping pose. It is very simple and everyone can do this asana. But you can get benefits when you do this pose with lots of concentration. You must have to concentrate on your each part of the body.

Beneficial for improving concentration, curing insomnia, calming mind, releasing stress, fatigue and depression.

Steps for Shavasana –
  1. Lie flat like our sleeping pose. Legs should be separated.Complitly relax mood.
  2. Keep your arms as normal and your palms are open facing up.
  3. Close your eyes,start concentrating from your head to your feet
  4. Breathe deeply and slowly through the both nostrils.
  5. Feel you are consciously relaxing your each part of the body. Don’t move without relaxing particular part of the body.
  6. On each inhaling and exhaling think that your body is totally relaxed. Let your tension, stress, depression and worry run away on each exhaling.
  7. Those having good concentrations can practice for a long time and others can practice for 3-5 minutes.

Pranayama is a Sanskrit word, which consists of two parts, ‘Prana’ and ‘Ayam’. Prana means life energy or vital energy (breath) and Ayam is extension or expansion. Anulom Vilom pranayama

Anulom Vilom pranayama is one of the excellent breathing exercises which is also know as Nadi Shodhana.for Regular practice offers complete purification of body as well as mind. Procedure for Anulom Vilom Pranayama-

It is very simple asana every one can do this of any age.‘Anulom’ is a Sanskrit word which means ‘alternate’. Therefore anuloma-Viloma is also called “Alternate Nostril Breathing Technique”.
For closing nostrils alternatively you need to use ‘right hand thumb’ and ‘second & third fingers’ (Madhyama and Anamika). Keep the palm in front of face and above the nose to avoid interruption in flow of breath from nostrils.

Procedure -

  • Sit comfortably in a open ground or open places .
  • Those who can’t sit, they can sit on chair because this is related to the breath.
  • Close right nostril with right thumb and breathe from left nostril. Then close left nostril with middle and ring finger and breathe out from right nostril.
  • Now breathe in deeply with right nostril and then close right nostril and breathe out deeply with left nostril. Do the repetition.
  • Do this for 5-10 minutes.
  • Keep in mind that your breathing should be up to the lungs and not in the stomach.

Bhastrika Pranayama

The word Bhastrika means in Sanskrit is Bellows. This breathing exercise resembles the blowing of bellows. Bhastrika is the excellent breathing exercise which we can practice slowly or fast as per our convenience. It keeps the body healthy and mind happy. Heart and brain patients must practice to get miraculous results. Depression, migraine, parkinson’s disease, paralysis are completely cured, which is impossible by medicines.

Note - Person who are suffering from Lung or Heart problem or both, requisting to do this with proper guidence and should practice slowly other wise slowly increase the speed of breathing.

  • Sit comfortably on Open, flat ground. 
  • Those who can’t sit on ground can sit on chair because this pranayama is related to the breath.
  • Take a deep breath through both nostrils and fill the lungs with air and then exhale with hissing sound.
  • Inhale deeply and exhale completely.

Do this for 2 min to 5 minutes max and see the result in a few days.

Durga Puja is celebrated with religious observance by the Bengalis all over the world. In India, the eastern state of West Bengal is the main location for the celebration of Durga Puja, as it is the main festival for the Bengalis. मिट्टी का टैन हुआ पवित्र गंगा के आसनम से,
चींटी करण हो जाए पवित्र, जगदम्बे के ध्यान से

Ma Durge!  we remember you to overcome all fear and Grief, Who is the other except you,invariably to favor all.

Procedure to chant.
Chant this mantra 108 times daily , 9 days continuously in any Navratri night.


दारिद्र्य-दु:खादिनाश के लिये - (अ॰४,श्लो॰१७)

मंत्र -

“  दुर्गे स्मृता हरसि भीतिमशेषजन्तो: स्वस्थै: स्मृता मतिमतीव शुभां ददासि।

दारिद्र्यदु:खभयहारिणि का त्वदन्या  सर्वोपकारकरणाय सदादर्द्रचित्त 

अर्थ :-

माँ दुर्गे! आप स्मरण करने पर सब प्राणियों का भय हर लेती हैं और स्वस्थ पुरषों द्वारा चिन्तन करने पर उन्हें परम कल्याणमयी बुद्धि प्रदान करती हैं। दु:ख, दरिद्रता और भय हरनेवाली देवि! आपके सिवा दूसरी कौन है, जिसका चित्त सबका उपकार करने के लिये सदा ही दया‌र्द्र रहता हो।

मंत्र जप बिधी -

किसिभी नवरात्रि के ९ दिन रोज रात को माता दुर्गा चित्र के सामने बैठे इस मंत्र कि १ माला (१०८ बार) जपे।

  5. Light a pure ghee lamp ( Diya ) before the picture of Maa Durga.
  6. Recite the above Ma Durga Mantra 4 Rosary (4*108).
  7. Continues this recitation procedure 9 Navratra days.
  8. On the last day make some sweet meal and distribute it to some young girls ( minimum 9 girls) with some gifts that make them delighted.

  • इसके बाद  मा दुर्गा मंत्र 4 माला (* 108* 4) जप करे ।
  • 9 नवरात्र दिनों में इस मंत्र जप  पाठ की प्रक्रिया जारी रखे ।

अंतिम दिन कुछ मीठा खाना बनाले  और उन्हें कुछ उपहार के साथ कुछ युवा लड़कियों (न्यूनतम 9 लड़कियों) इसे उपहार प्रदान करे।

  • अब जिसे आप अपने नियंत्रण मे  चाहते हैं, उसके बाएं पैर की कुछ धूल ले लो।
  • उस के बाद जब आप इसे नियंत्रित करने के लिए उपयोग करना चाहते हैं तो 7 बार इस मंत्र के साथ इस धूल को Energize करके उसके सिर पर बड़ी चतुराई से छोरदे।
